This Saturday we filmed Good With Children! We had a great time, but we didn’t get many pictures. Below you can see our lovely DP and worker of magic, Andria Chamberlain, trying to decide if we should use the hood mount with direct sun. The verdict was no. 🙂

We can’t wait to show you the finished product!  In the meantime, keep watching Horror Haiku on the Seraph Films channel!

We tested out a electronic cigarette for our Good With Children shoot next weekend. We can’t have the windows down because of the car mount for the camera and sound and regular cigarettes were creating a little too much “atmosphere,” if you will.

I still need to figure out how to hold the thing so I don’t look like a noob, but I have plenty of people to study over the next couple of days in my life.

The House screened at El Cid last night! We had a huge turn out and the film had a great response!

Above you can see Gene and me introducing the film before it screens. I have to say I was a little nervous, but I didn’t fall off the stage, so we’re good!

Friends, Andria Chamberlin and Michael Kofsky, are producing a film! They have Kevin Chamberlin attached and have a Kickstarter campaign!

Please check out the film and show them any love you can: share their campaign, send them a love note, or support them, if you can! It’s a really neat story about a chef who agrees to cook the last meal for a condemned death row inmate.

Soo…we have another Horror Haiku! I’m in this one and I have to say my character gets everything that’s coming to her; had she gotten rid of her VHS player years ago, she’d never be in the mess she’s in!

I had an awesome time this weekend filming our Horror Haiku’s with Seraph Films!

Each haiku will air on Wednesdays on the Seraph Films YouTube channel, so don’t forget to subscribe so you won’t miss ’em!  We’ll be picking fan written haiku for the next set we film!

I’m sooo looking forward to 2013!  There are lots of wonderful things on the horizon both professionally and personally that I’m really excited to share!

But first I wanted to reflect on 2012. Between Personal Finances, Much Ado About Nothing, The House, Among The Shadows, and 12th Night, things have been very busy! One of the very cool things that happened was that Indie Mogul featured The House, which garnered a lot of wonderful comments.

This one was my personal favorite: “my god, gave me a heart attack in 10 mins – good work!”

Hooray!  The House will be at LA Horror Fest, Sat, Oct 27, 2012!  It’ll be part of the Short Films Block 1 at 11:30 AM.  Your ticket is a pass for the whole festival, so once you see The House, come visit the Seraph Films booth and get the scoop on our Halloween short!
