The Haunted Video Tape – Seraph Films

Soo…we have another Horror Haiku! I’m in this one and I have to say my character gets everything that’s coming to her; had she gotten rid of her VHS player years ago, she’d never be in the mess she’s in!

Nevertheless, I hope that you enjoy it! And if you would like to submit a haiku for us to film, please leave them in the comments on YouTube or you can leave them here and I’ll share them with the Seraph Films team.

Dallas Travers and the Triving Artist Circle

Guess what I did this week!  I got to meet Dallas Travers in person! A long time member of the Thriving Artist Circle online and a huge fan of her approach to marketing, I was totally starstruck!

Dallas Travers
Ain't she adorbs?!

If you want to learn more about this incredible lady, check out the Thriving Artist Circle!

I also got to see my friend’s too-cute-for-words daughter in Peter Pan and was reminded of how wonderful it is to get to be on stage at a young age and explore a character. “That’s right, Peter! We’ll never grow up!”

Horror Haiku with Seraph Films

I had an awesome time this weekend filming our Horror Haiku’s with Seraph Films!

Tanya on Set for Horror HaikuEach haiku will air on Wednesdays on the Seraph Films YouTube channel, so don’t forget to subscribe so you won’t miss ’em!  We’ll be picking fan written haiku for the next set we film!

Note that even Big Bunny got in on the action. 🙂

Happy 2013!

I’m sooo looking forward to 2013!  There are lots of wonderful things on the horizon both professionally and personally that I’m really excited to share!

But first I wanted to reflect on 2012. Between Personal Finances, Much Ado About Nothing, The House, Among The Shadows, and 12th Night, things have been very busy! One of the very cool things that happened was that Indie Mogul featured The House, which garnered a lot of wonderful comments.

This one was my personal favorite: “my god, gave me a heart attack in 10 mins – good work!”

Clips!

I finally have my clips on the site!  You can view all of them on the Clips page, but the Drama one is below. There’s also an Action/Thriller clip and a Industrial/Comedy clip.  Fun stuff!

To Kristen With Love

This weekend I worked on To Kristen With Love with the Seraph Films group.   I can’t take credit for the picture below; it’s a still from the footage.  My pics from set didn’t come out as good as I was hoping they would, unfortunately, but you can find them on the Tanya Gorlow Facebook page.

This project is a particularly personal one for our director and leader, Gene.  There’s a lot of talent both in front of and behind the camera and the footage that I saw on set was amazing.

MAAN, Stuff Is Shaping Up!

We’re only 6 days away from opening weekend for Much Ado About Nothing in Santa Monica and everything looks great!  Costume fittings are tomorrow and we get into the space Monday night.  In the meantime, there has been some serious acting going on.  Below, you can see Don Pedro (Chad Wood), Leonato (Matt Chait), Claudio (Mark Jacobson), and Balthazar (Christopher Otazo) during a rehearsal.

Actors ActingYou can see our snazzy poster below, but in case the type is too small we’ll be performing at the Miles Memorial Playhouse May 24, 25, 26 and June 1, 2 at 8 PM with Sunday matinees May 27 and June 3 at 2 PM.  Hope to see you there!
